Teresa's career in health care started with a course in Basic Massage in the late 80's which she then followed with a course in Therapeutic Massage at the College of Holistic Medicine in London. With her broadening interest in natural health she attended an I.F.A. course in Clinical Aromatherapy and also gained a qualification in the Dr. Voddermethod of Manual Lymph Drainage. 

A growing interest in skin problems led Teresa to take the Beauty Therapist's Diploma followed by a Masters Diploma in Health and Beauty Therapy in 1993, one of only a handful of therapists to achieve this level of training in the country. 

Also during this time she qualified as an Iridologist having trained and qualified with the British and European School of Iridology in Bournemouth.

After a period of teaching Massage and Aromatherapy courses at The Isle of Wight college of Arts and Technology for a number of years, she decided to concentrate on her own clinic. 

A chance discovery of the Bowen Therapy changed her practice dramatically. Teresa did her initial Bowen training with Stuart Rapport from Australia, one of the original therapists taught by Oswald Rentsch. Teresa qualified in 1998 and has been updating her training with David Howells from Leamington Spa on a regular basis.
